Music should be fun first.

I teach and perform through the lens of play, helping students experience just how exciting learning can be and bringing audiences on a musical journey with me. It's a joy and an approach I've had to rediscover and redefine for myself. While the horn wasn't my first instrument, music has been a lifelong companion, and that companionship hasn't always been easy. After attending prestigious camps and graduating from a top-tier music school, the pressure eventually led to burnout, and I stepped away for over a decade. That hiatus taught me a vital lesson: music loses its spark when we prioritize perfection over passion or tension over finesse.
